'I am' Building a House for You

As I was praying early this morning I heard the Lord say: “I am building a house for you!”

Initially I thought that was a word specifically for you and me, but it was at the core of it, a message to the Holy Spirit, from God the Father! God said to the Spirit, I am building you a house to dwell in.

I then was led to 1 Corinthians 6: 19-20a

“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price:

God was speaking to the Holy Spirit on behalf of you, my friend. Among many great things, you are a dwelling place, and sanctuary, a shelter, a shell that houses the Spirit of God.

You see, The Holy Spirit desires to work in the earth realm to do great exploits on behalf on the Triune God. He desires to bring awareness to people about God by showing the greatness of God in the earth. Well, how will this manifest in the earth if the people in the earth cannot relate to a Spirit?

I am glad you asked! They cannot relate to a spirit, but they will relate to you because you look like them, but are not like them. People are intrigued by what looks like them, but are not like them. What am I saying? God has sent His Spirit to live in you in order to live through you in order to do great exploits through you!

Can you explain this further? Well, most certainly I will:

Paul said in 2 Corinthians 2:4

But we have this TREASURE in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power of me of God and now of ourselves.

God has housed a TREASURE inside of us that His magnificent glory will shine through us, not that we get the glory, but we give the glory to Jesus Christ.

This Treasure is the Holy Spirit, whom the Bible clearly states will testify of Jesus, will give the glory to Jesus, will tell everybody about Jesus as stated in John 15:26.

Can I close this and tell you what this means for you? Ok, thank you!

This means that God has chosen you, a clay fragile jar, made from the dust of the earth, to house Himself. So while others do not see the value of what you bring to the table, God sees your value so much so that He has validated you and confirmed your value by housing His most valuable possession “inside of you”! What is His most valuable possession? Himself!! He is saying in you, He is building His abode that He may come in and reside and abide in you! Wow! What an honor!

God does not just rest in any old beat up place, but He builds up His abode so that it can be appropriate for a King.

He is building you up! He is removing all the old junk like pride, jealousy, low self-esteem, unforgiveness, shame, guilt, fear, unbelief, resentment and anything that doesn’t build up, God is removing. He is also adding Himself to you like never before! God is building a house for His residence and that house is you! Allow God to make the necessary renovations! You will not look like what you been through in Jesus name!
