One Accord! Grace, mercy, and peace to each everyone of you in Jesus Christ our Lord !
We are watching difficult days unfold. Wars and rumors of wars are not just headlines. Jesus told us in Matthew 24 that we would hear of wars and rumors of wars, but He also said, do not be troubled.
We do not ignore what is happening, but we do not panic.
The Bible says in 2 Timothy 1:7 that God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Fear is not our inheritance. We grieve for loss of life and we pray for peace, but we stand anchored in Chridt!!.
We also understand this: . Hebrews 9:27 reminds us that it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this the judgment. That reality should not make us afraid. It should make us urgent.
This is why we cannot be silent. This is why we must preach the Gospel, and make sure that every person we encounter hears the name of Jesus. While nations are in conflict, heaven is still extending mercy.
Jesus said in John 14:27, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. Not as the world gives. Let not your heart be troubled. The peace we carry is not rooted in treaties or alliances. It is rooted in Christ.
Psalm 46 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We are protected in Him. Our lives are hiddenn with Christ in God. That means we trust His sovereignty even when we do not understand global events.
So we pray for ALL nations involved. We pray for CIVILIANS AND SOLDIERS. We pray for wisdom for leaders. And we preach Christ.
The ultimate peace is not the absence of war. It is the presence of Christ.
. Jesus is still Lord. The Gospel is still power. And the Church is still called.
