Grace and peace One Accord family,
Holy Week is a sacred time in the life of the Church where we remember the final days of Jesus Christ, His sacrifice on the cross, and His resurrection power. It is a week of reflection, gratitude, repentance, and celebration as we honor the finished work of Christ and the victory we have through Him.
There are many opportunities this week for us to gather, worship, and grow together in fellowship across the region:
Tonight, Redeeming Faith Church in Newburgh will host the Seven Last Words service at 7:00 PM.
Tomorrow evening, there will be service at Pisgah in Westchester County at 7:00 PM.
On Friday, many churches will be hosting Seven Last Words services. Pastor B will be preaching in Middletown at 7:00 PM at Dr. Patricia DeJesus’ church, TLHOR. In Newburgh, there will also be a Seven Last Words service at 7:00 PM at The Cathedral with Bishop Woody, as well as another 7:00 PM service with Bishop Odom. CMF will also be gathering in Newburgh at 7:00 PM.
These are powerful opportunities to come together in unity, reflect on the cross, and honor Christ through worship and fellowship.
We will culminate the week with our Resurrection Sunday celebration at One Accord Christian Church, located at 88 Lake Street in Newburgh. Sunday School will begin at 10:30 AM and our Worship Service will begin at 11:30 AM. Please plan to arrive early as we gather to celebrate the risen Savior together.
Let us be intentional this week to seek His presence, remember His sacrifice, and rejoice in His resurrection.
Love you,
+RJB
