One Accord Family,
The recent murder of Charlie Kirk has left our nation reeling. For many, this moment feels both polarizing and paralyzing, exposing once again the deep divisions within the church and the country. While his death has captured national headlines, we must also remember and never forget the countless Black and Brown lives lost far too frequently, lives lost even since his tragic murder; lives no less valuable in the eyes of God.
Family, we are called to show compassion and love for all people, regardless of the differences in thought or method. Mr.Kirk has met his destiny, and now we pray for his family and all who knew him.
Our hearts break especially for his wife and children, who endured unimaginable trauma in witnessing the loss of a husband and father. This is a grief beyond words.
In times like these, we are reminded to turn not to politics or polarization, but to the Word of God:
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1, KJV). And again, “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted” (Matthew 5:4, KJV).
As we prepare for our church-wide fast on September 28th, let us pray for unity in the body of Christ, healing for the brokenhearted, and courage to love one another as Christ has loved us.
Fear hath no residence in the hearts and spirits of the righteous, and that you are!

Amen thank you for this opportunity Bishop Bolton to remind us all we must show compassion and empathy for all. We must learn to be not divided but united we must learn how to resolve solutions of peace even when we agree to disagree healthy. Love this ministry always upward in teach to better and grow every soul .The name of the ministry speaks for its self ONE ACCORD..as we must all strive to be .
Thank you for putting out this message Bishop! This speaks to the vision that God has given you for OACC as ministering to the total man. Yes we are upset and confused at times as we witness the fallout from this murder. As a people of color it does look so bleak and a little scary, but as soldiers of the Lord and joint heirs with Christ we MUST love even those who despitefully use us and we have to pray and get closer to God to hear how to navigate this life. Thank you for your wise counsel and Holy Spirit filled guidance as we go through. God bless you always!
